I am currently a fifth-year student majoring in Veterinary Medicine at National Taiwan University. During my exchange program at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this year, I joined Prof. Rau’s lab and started my journey in bioinformatics. My research focused on analyzing DNA methylation data. I tried to develop signature matrix of differential methylated regions to estimated cell type proportion of heart bulk tissue using deconvolution method. This experience allowed me to enhance my knowledge and skills in bioinformatics. In August 2022, I joined Prof. Huai-Kuang Tsai’s lab. It’s my honor to be one of the members in Bioit Station.
